First day of class...
For better or for worse, today was my first day of class. The phrase "equal opportunity institution" must go for professors as well. Wow, so far, I have quite the variety of profs. a liberal extremist, a denver environmentalist freak, and a guy with a really bad comb-over. Best of all so far is my calculus prof. he is really strange and reminded me of Count Olaf in the new unfortunate movie that came out. I am sure he was drunk but he was definitely entertaining. I didn't learn much of anything about calculus in the two hours of lecture, but got to know a new crosby stills nash and young song, as well as other very useful information such as why an integral sign is on a guitar(the question was presented as why the integral symbol and not something else? I don't think it every got answered). it was certainly not the stereotypical class setting. Anyway, I think this semester is going to be a lot tougher then the previous one which is fine, I just need to study a ton more. none of my work load is all that awesome sounding to me but hey, new challenges are always good. It is going to be fun integrating work with school. ha ha.
