June is always a crazy month. So far, our family has made and or eaten 10 cakes this month, while I have actually had pieces out of 8 of them. That comes out to a lot of cake. Anyway, there's one more coming tommorrow because its my little sisters birthday. I like cake. I dont think I could remember how much ice cream I've eaten this month, since I have not only enjoyed it at birthday celebrations, but also at several ice cream shops and such after movies or just for fun or whatever. Defly an ice cream month for me... :) Anyway, leaving that topic, this has been a wonderful month overall. Friends, summer movie flicks, ice cream(did I mention that yet?), coffee, lots of work, my new found tea obsession, and a clean room(finally!!) all combine together to be a wonderful time overall this month. While work has not been overly busy, I am still not bored at all, finding plenty to do paperwork-wise, it has definitely been time to get some of this stuff done that I have been procrastinating on. I am trying to start thinking about giving web and graphics design a go, I have had a bit of interest from a few companies, and think there might be something for me in the winter possibly..? I dont know whats there, just sort of trying to make some conceptual stuff and try and assemble a portfolio for the website that will advertise it. Anyway, so if im not doing something lawn care related, I will prolly be found drawing something, or making a web page or something like that. Anyway, I have decided that my lawn care business is basicly going to be the biggest lawn care company in the world someday, so I am going to work on turning it into a household name while its still young. I have several ideas for this infiltration into american society. It is going to be soo awesome, and though my multi thousand dollar campaigns prolly wont get me much more business, at least more people will have heard the name, and it will be the start of a long term thing. Obviously most people dont think of any lawn care business as being a household name, but that's why I have sooo much potential. The world of lawn care is vastly underrated and I am going to show them, that remembering the name Clean-Edge Lawn Services will prove just as important as other fortune 500 companies such as google and wal-mart. You will see, and you will so wish you invested stock into my business... So anyway, there's my lawn care plan, I have similar plans for the web design industry though not as grand. The movie industry I will leave to those who already hold the competition. I am going to become a low budget independent film producer and make a small income if any off of that. So pretty much, my life is going to be like the coolest life in the world. I thought the pic I took was cool but couldnt think of anything to post on it, but now know how it links with this post. My ambitions are defly American made, be all you can be, pursuit of happiness, all that jazz. I am so gonna take advantage of all that this place offers. Now, I need to stop writing about it and start coming up with the money to do all this... ok so that was a slightly random post, and I have no clue how I went from cake to business plans, but thats my life right now... food and work. oh and working out... Nathan's making sure of that....

So, im in a contest with my cousin to see who can run the most days straight. Last night, I was over at someone elses house and forgot my running shoes. Oh No!! Does that stop me though? I simple took off my shoes and ran 2 miles barefoot on that fancy asphalt stuff with tons of pebbles in it. I got back and the bottom of my big toe is like blue. I am sure that is because the skin is almost all gone. it kind of hurt, but HA HA, I am soo keeping up with you!!

tazo

Tazo has the best tea ever! I had been wanting to make chai and had some off brand of it laying around. It was ok, but nothing like what I wanted to taste. I finally remembered to pick up some tazo chai tea bags(I was about to buy the liquid stuff, but figured I would try it in the bags first), so I just made some iced chai in my nalgene(took a few bags), and yes, finally, a satisfactory cup(more like a liter) of chai! Triumph! So if their tea isnt enough, you have to check out their website. Its incredible! tazo.com
I am now a devoted Tazo fan. I cant wait to try all their other teas I havent tried yet. Tea is becoming such a part of my life now! I love it!

The heat was unbearable. The humidity rating at 94% only increased the heaviness of the work environment I was immersed in. The clouds moved, the sun came out and poured an artificial heat on my back, as if it didn't want to shine today but was forced to. The sky laughed at my situation and threatened me with thunderous voices. The clouds rolled in a while later, I had finished a few lawns, the sky continued to laugh at me, and the clouds rolled in. I started on a bigger yard, and stared at the distant mountain. It blue color had darkened into an almost black shade of blue matching the sky above it. I worked my mower harder, like a master its slave, forcing it to work harder and faster. The temperature dropped 20 degrees in 10 minutes tops and the wind picked up rapidly. I continued. Lightning illuminated everything around me moment after moment. The mountains were no longer black but white, and few minutes later, they had disappeared. Everything distant vanished. I finished the front yard, moved to the back, and almost immediately got pelted with small hail. Continuing through, the rain began pouring. I was blinded by the sweat being forced into my eyes from the rain. After the sweat had washed away, I could see better, and half the yard was underwater. I mowed through and water spewed out mixed with clippings. Mud seeped through the grass to make several visible stripes of brown... ouch. The rain kept coming, I pulled out the trimmer and edged all the driveway and sidewalks, and then trimmed around the fences. Clouds of mist surrounded me, the trimmer producing tons of it. I pulled out the blower, and moved water around transporting the grass with it. The rain kept coming. I locked everything up, the rain stopped. The owner was glad I mowed it. In the rain. I think it made them happy to see me like that because then I really deserved the money... They didn't mind the ruts as long as I was able to come back on Saturday and mow again. It rained on Saturday. Did I come? No. Are they mad? I don't know....I'm happy about it, it made me feel accomplished that day, like I did something that was really work. That's why this is happy.

Check this out - its soo cool! See the logo on the shirt that says 0ppm? I designed it(you can click on the picture for a bigger picture)! It now belongs to Siemens VDO for some project they are doing. I dont know too much about it except it stands for 0 parts per million, the logo needed to have something to do with cars and look fast. I had a quick sketch on a napkin as a guide. Its now going on tshirts and like all that! Is that not cool to think that I actually designed something that people are going to see?!?!
